We just released our latest update, which brings the all-new high-res logos and layer cache options, which we've been teasing recently.

High-res logos are achieved by rendering the logos individually to an extra 2048x2048 texture (each individual logo has a maximum size of 512x512 on this texture), which allows for a lot more detail at closer distance, even compared to the 4096 texture scale (roughly 200x200px per logo). This is especially noticeable on the shorts, which are half resolution, following the game format.
For now, only the brand and team logos on the shirt and shorts are supported. The main reason for this is that it's easier to export to the game that way as that's how EAFC / FIFA also does logos. In addition, we did not implement rotation on these logos but the current implementation of sponsor logos does support rotation.
High-res logos are exclusive to Plus Ultimate members at the moment. This could change in the future but there are currently no fixed plans for that. You can get Plus Ultimate here.
The layer cache should improve the graphics memory usage of the Kit Creator, which should mean fewer crashes at higher texture scale settings.
How does it work? Essentially, the layers are cached to a less memory intensive format when they are not being rendered currently. This is no magic fix and there will still be crashes if your device has a lower amount of graphics memory, especially during operations like loading an existing kit, which require many active layers to render to.
Both options can be enabled in the settings panel.
In addition to these big two, this update includes a number of smaller and bigger fixes. In general, there are a lot of changes in the background and despite our best effort to test everything extensively, there are likely to be some bugs. Please report them in the Discord, social media or via email and we will try our best to fix them asap!
